Send us your work
We are constantly looking for new work to publish on our site. The Swiss Wedding Blog as its name suggests specializes in marriage in Switzerland. Real weddings, styled shoots & engagement shoots must have been done exclusively in Switzerland. Regarding the bridal editorial, since these are mainly done in the studio, we may accept to publish some that took place outside of Switzerland. For more details (Images size) regarding submissions, please refer to the FAQ at the bottom of this page.
FAQ
1) Who can submit to The Swiss Wedding Blog ?
We only accept shoots that took place in Switzerland. For now (SWB has just been created) you don't need to be in the address book to be published. However, being a member of our address book gives you priority over non-members.
2) What kind of submission are we looking for ?
Real Weddings - are the most watched and requested content by our readers. In this type of publication, the bride and groom can better imagine the course of a wedding in real conditions.
Styled Shoots - Unlike the real wedding, styled shoots allow for the presentation of new and daring things. We are fond of details and original points of view. The more original your shoot, the greater your chances of being published.
Bridal editorials - Almost like styled shoots, bridal editorials focus exclusively on the bride. Do not hesitate to offer us extravagant wedding dresses, improbable accessories sublimated by a floral design that comes out of the box.
Engagement shoots - whether outdoors or indoors, we are also looking for creative and inspiring images. Of course for this type of shoot, it must show a loving couple above all.
3) What is our editorial line?
The SWB highlights Swiss service providers and couples. This is our main criteria.
For consistency in our content, we look for aesthetic, luxurious images with true colors.Our goal is to inspire future couples and bring a breath of fresh air to the Swiss wedding industry. If your photos are out of the ordinary, be sure that we will be there to highlight them.
Little note: we love details (of the location, the jewelry, the table, etc.).
4) Do you feature previously published work?
Ideally we would like to have the exclusivity of the publication. The wedding industry being very competitive, on some occasions, we still publish work that has been published previously.
5) How should I send the images?
Ideally we would like to receive your images via a pixieset or dropbox gallery. Please send us via the form, the password of the gallery as well as the download pin. Please name the dropbox folder as follows: PhotographerName - Project. Please send us ALL the images with a width of 1500 pixels.
6) How many images should I send?
Please send us a minimum of 50 images for real weddings & inspiration shoots or 30 images for engagement sessions & bridal editorials.
7) When will I hear if my submission has been accepted?
Whether your submission is successful or not, you will receive a response from us within 5 to 10 working days. If you have not heard back, please do feel free to follow it up with an email just in case we did not receive it in the first place. You will be advised of a scheduled date for the post so you can check it out and show the world! You will also be sent an ‘published on the Swiss Wedding Blog’ badge to display on your website/blog.
